Satyaraja dasa

Satyaraja dasa (Steven J Rosen)
Steven J. Rosen was initiated into the esoteric tradition of Gaudiya-Vaishnavism in 1975 by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Prabhupada gave him the name Satyaraja dasa, which means "servant of the King of Truth". In pursuance of that truth, Rosen has authored fifteen books on East-Indian spirituality and has, for the past decade, served as the senior editor of "The Journal of Vaishnava Studies". Currently, he is working with a team of editors to complete The Encyclopedia of Hinduism, an eighteen-volume compendium of Indian thought. His latest book "The Art of Devotion" is explaining the myth and the personalities behind Vaishnava art.
